The CymbalChief

The CymbalChief® is designed to mount directly onto the cymbal stand post, allowing the cymbal to swing freely with its 360-degree bevel while reducing the need for other hardware accessories. The Chief is made of durable material that will last and is supported with a lifetime warranty.

Installation

Install with a top sleeve or topper on stand post

There is a patented designed “sleeve insert” on the top of the CymbalChief allowing you to use a sleeve if you choose. Michael Cartellone, drummer for Lynyrd Skynyrd, applies the Pearl WingLoc, WL 230 toppers on several of his cymbal stands. This is a great choice for heavy hitters, or if you just prefer the cymbal to be tightly mounted. You can also use a standard sleeve cut to your desired length. No sleeve is required but rather the musician’s choice.

Install with a curved base washer

You may use a curved base washer. The CymbalChief is flexible and is designed to fit tightly over the 8mm cymbal post. The center hole size allows for a snug fit to support your cymbal from falling, or sliding on the stand post.

Install with a flat base washer

The base of the CymbalChief is designed to sit on a flat washer if the musicians prefers. Washers are not required and are strictly optional.
